Privacy Policy — Shway

In short: your data stays on your phone, and we never see it.

What we collect

Nothing. Shway does not collect any personal data or usage data, and does not send it to any server. We have no servers. There is no account and no sign-in.

What is stored on your device

The following is stored only in the app's storage on your device:

• Your habits: their names, level targets, schedule, time of day, and icon.
• Your daily log: the level you recorded and when you recorded it.
• Your name, if you entered one. It is optional and only appears in the greeting.
• Your preferences: reminder settings and times, appearance, and today's energy.

Deleting the app deletes this data. If device backups are turned on (iCloud or a computer), iOS may include it in your device backup. That happens under your device settings and Apple's management, and we cannot access it.

Reminders

Reminders are local notifications scheduled by iOS on your device. We do not use server push notifications and do not need a device identifier. Habit names may appear in notifications on your Lock Screen; you control this in your phone's notification settings.

Observations ("لاحظنا شيء")

Observations are computed only on your device from your log. Nothing is sent to any service, and no AI service is used. You can turn them off in the "You" tab.

Siri and Shortcuts

When you log a habit with Siri or the Shortcuts app, Apple handles the voice request under its own policy; the logging itself happens on your device inside the app.

Export, restore and sharing

A backup file is created only when you ask for it ("You" → Export). You choose where it goes (the Files app or elsewhere). Once it leaves the app, it is subject to the place you chose.

Restoring reads a file you pick, and keeps a copy of your current data on the device before replacing it.

The rhythm card is an image drawn on your device; it leaves the device only if you share it.

Third parties

No analytics libraries, no ads, no tracking tools, and no third-party sign-in. We do not sell or share your data, because it never reaches us.

If you have enabled sharing analytics with app developers on your device, Apple may provide us with technical crash reports under its own policy. We add none of your data to them.

Support correspondence

If you choose to email us, we receive your email address and message so we can respond to your request. The app does not automatically attach your habits or history. Do not send a backup or private information unless you choose to do so.

Children

We do not collect data from anyone, including children.

Your control

You can edit or delete any habit, export your data, and delete everything by deleting the app. Because we keep no copy, we cannot recover your data if it is lost. Export a backup from time to time.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update it here with a new date. Any feature that moves data off your device will be described here before it ships.
